Here is how I feel after one month of Hot Yoga at Tula The greatest
benefit for me is: my nervous system function is greatly improved, my concentration level
is increased. I have been practicing hot yoga 2 classes a day and 5 days a week, with the
consistent and dedicated practice I have lost 5 pounds within one month.
Most importantly, the most valuable assets of the studio are the instructors; they are
very helpful, well-educated and considerate.

Being Miss Toronto I am constantly being watched so being physically fit
is very important but having a healthy body doesn't mean being a small size. Woman come in
all sizes and are beautiful just the way we are. By taking class here I understand that
Yoga truly allows your body to meet with your mind. The classes are created for all ages
and levels. The heated room allows your body to relax which enables you to have a deeper
stretch. The environment is very peaceful and clean considering it is located in the
middle of downtown Toronto. I treat myself to a lunch Class which leads a smile for the
rest of the day. I would like to thank Isabella for dreaming outside the box. You
have brought an outlet for peace and true happiness for people who lead busy lives that
forget to take care of themselves first. You've taken the stress out of the how and where.

Thank you for being such a first class hostess for my trip to Toronto. The
body treatments were an excellent way to relax and jumping right into the Hot Yoga class
the next day was a challenging but fun way burn off a little stress as well. As the owner
you must be very proud of such a first class facility. I will definitely make you a part
of my next trip North of the border.

I decided to pursue the practice of yoga in hopes of improving my health
and mobility. Trying several classes at different studios, Tula Studios made the biggest
impression upon me. Instructors Isabel, head instructor and proprietor, and Emma made me
totally comfortable trying a new activity I had previously found intimidating and
embarrassing to try. Their instruction is patient, directive and helpful. Always
presenting the full range of possibilities for each movement, for the beginner to the
accomplished practitioner, both are always encouraging and professional in their
instruction. In addition the studio is clean and aesthetically pleasing lending to an
atmosphere that promotes the physical artistry of an antique and spiritual art form. The
transformation I have experienced has been amazing; in just four months I have went from
seeing a chiropractor - sometimes weekly - to not at all. The other great thing I have
experienced is that through the practice I can still appease my competitive nature, always
challenging myself to try new movements or work harder at the ones I have learned.

About a year ago I had broken my heel and had to have surgery to
reconstruct the bone. I was in crutches for 6 months. It took months to even stand on my
left leg with my right leg up for only 10 seconds. Since starting Tula Hot Hatha about 2
months ago I can now balance on my leg for more than 30 seconds. Not only does the Hot
Hatha build the balance in my body but it also helps to release all negative toxins and
stress that are in my body. Ive also included Pilates 3 x times per week and the
balance of the 2 is quite unbelievable. Although you might think that coming to Tula 5
times per week may be excessive, I will strongly tell you differently. I might
occasionally miss a class but I always make it up another day and I still make it a top
priority to come at least 4 times a week. I have gained so much mentally and physically
since I have made this a part of my life that really I must say my experience has really
been priceless. I feel so balanced, energized and happy.

strength in legs, upper body and arms, greatly improved posture and feeling much calmer.
Very surprised at how much of a cardio workout it is. Instructors are fantastic,
knowledgeable and no nonsense. Try it!

The Hot Hatha Yoga taught at Tula Studios is fantastic. The persistent
focus on breath work has given me advanced lung and each session of brings more awareness
to the symmetry of my body. After practicing Hot Hatha my body feels completely
rejuvenated. I use this as a catalyst, allowing me to approach the following morning with
vigor.

When I was in my early twenties and living in Vancouver, I never thought
much about fitness--that was for Phys Ed teachers. At that point I hadn't injured any part
of my body and I was thin. Therefore, no thought about the future! But one day at the
University Women's Club, I saw the most striking woman. She was quite old (I thought) but
beautiful, and the most beautiful thing about her was her posture. I determined at that
point to try to look like that woman as I aged.
Over the years I have tried several fitness routines, but there is nothing
better to achieve that posture than Pilates. Simply nothing better. It's taken me more
than a few years, but I am now doing Pilates classes as much as I can. I find the classes
at Tula the best I have come across. The instructors carefully explain, demonstrate and
correct technique throughout the class, ensuring we get the most out of the method. I
emerge from a class feeling at least an inch taller than when I went in! I am probably
stronger than I have ever been in my life. And you know what they say about strong
women--they age well! I only wish I had done Pilates thirty years ago.
